On June 11th, 1999, three precocious musicians came together, creating a super-cosmic rift that just might change the landscape of rock forever. They were . . .
The Hick, Drum-kit
The Hick was actually conceived in the air, during the trial liaison of a Canadian Goose and a Non-Canadian Goose. Ever since hatching, he has endeavored to recreate the inexorable rhythm that he can only vaguely remember, which sounds to him oddly like wings beating in time.
The Mole, Bass-line
The Mole is born of the earth. Like a moist and delicious fungi, he has slowly emerged out of the wet undergrowth of time to bring to the present the eternal throbbing bass-lines of the Big Bang.
( The) Degan, Guitar and Chorus
Degan was once a narwhal. But because he loved an earthling, he begged a Seawitch to change him into a human. In payment for this magical transformation, she took from him his ability to be heard or understood by the people of earth. Unfortunately, however, due to a smudge in her spellbook, she only took away his ability to be understood by the peons of earth, and so luckily all original, creative, non-Republican persons can glory in the musical power he derives by playing on his guitar, transformed from his former horn.
